This tale, at the same time naive and grave, invites us to wonder about the cogs of the mechanics of the scapegoat. It is dedicated to all the children of the world who closely or remotely were next to the rejection and to the intolerance.
Écrit durant la décennie noire de l’Algérie, ce récit d’apprentissage s’inspire librement d’un fait réel survenu en Kabylie lors de l’enfance de l’auteur. Son fil conducteur est l’amitié d’un enfant et d’un marginal que certains tolèrent et que d’autres voudraient envoyer à l’asile. À ses côtés, l’enfant va apprendre à écouter la musique des arbres et à regarder le monde avec les yeux du cœur. Ce conte, à la fois naïf et grave, nous invite à nous interroger sur les rouages de la mécanique du bouc émissaire. Il est dédié à tous les enfants du monde qui de près ou de loin ont côtoyé le rejet et l’intolérance. |
